Information About our eBooks

Plunkett Research publishes all of its titles in electronic form as well as in printed books.

The process of buying and downloading an eBook is quite simple:

1. Place your order via our website. Please be sure that your credit card information and email are entered correctly. Also, please be sure to provide full details regarding your name, address and telephone.
2. Upon ordering, if your credit card and email are valid, you will promptly receive two emails from us. The first email will acknowledge your order and act as a receipt. The second will give you instructions for downloading your eBook.
3. You will then download your eBook by clicking on the link that we give you in your email. Once you download the eBook, it is stored permanently on your hard drive—it’s yours to keep.
4. If your eBook is one of our full almanacs (not a summary) then you will also be eligible to receive a free CD-ROM version of the underlying database. You can request your CD-ROM by filling our the Customer Support Form found in the front of your eBook.

If you purchase an eBook, you will enjoy the following advantages and features:

1. Your downloaded eBook will include the complete information and the same pages as found in our printed books. It will be in the form of a PDF file. PDFs are easy to read, and the pages look exactly like the pages in a printed book.
2. One of the first pages within your eBook will be suggestions for how to best use it. You will be able to do key word searches within the eBook. If you don’t know how to do this, simply follow the instructions in the help file.
3. Also, you will be able to use “bookmarks” to help you navigate through the eBooks. These bookmarks are part of a hyperlinked table that works like a table of contents. Click on the information that you want, and you will be taken directly to it.
4. You will be able to print pages from the eBook.

License and Copyright Considerations:

1. Please note that you will be purchasing a one-user license for this eBook.
2. You will be permitted to store the eBook both on your desktop computer and in one additional device, such as your laptop or personal digital assistant. (Please see the license agreement within your eBook.)
3. If you desire a broad, multi-user license, it is available at additional cost. Many corporations and libraries license our data for multi-user online use. Details are available for Plunkett Research Online Access.
